After listening to the song, I made a moodboard with images that best reflect the suspenseful mood and feelings of desperation that the song seems to evoke.
I did sketches to plan out how I would split the lyrics of the song and the duration of my motion graphic. I considered the way my type would move, the effects I would probably use, camera movement and possible transitions.
I used the ideas from my sketches to create a refined storyboard to layout the lyrics for each frame and make more detailed notes about the transitions.
Using the panels of my storyboard, I made an animatic to organize them in a video format and used it as a guide when working on my final motion graphic.
