Weather Report Project

A series of posters that reflect the weather of a single day in Manhattan, New York. I acquired weather information of my chosen day using Accuweather, took pictures and recorded observations of the weather throughout the whole day. My goal was to practice conveying different pieces of information about the weather through manipulating typography and images, trying different layouts and experimenting with color. I used Adobe InDesign to create my posters and Photoshop for manipulating my weather photos.

This first poster focuses on conveying the sunny and warm weather I experienced using only typography and color.

This second poster focuses on communicating the high and low temperatures of the day using typography, color and graphic elements.

This third poster conveys the sunrise and sunset times using typography, color, graphic elements and my weather photos that I manipulated.

This fourth poster is a collage that combines elements from the previous posters to express the overall sunny mood of my chosen day.
